Welcome to Meade County Area Technology Center.
Thank you for visiting our website. Located in Brandenburg,
Kentucky, our primary goal is to serve the needs of Meade
County High School students enabling them to attain skills
which will help them successfully make the transition from
high school into the workforce or into post-secondary education.
Meade County ATC offers the following programs: Air Conditioning
and Refrigeration, Carpentry, Welding,
Automotive Technology, Marketing Education and Health Sciences.
Our highly trained and experienced faculty and staff make
every effort to provide an atmosphere and environment in which
every student can be successful in the development of skills
that will be useful to the student in all future endeavors.
Each instructor works closely with other schools and business
and industry representatives in the local and surrounding
areas so that our graduates have the skills required by various
businesses and post-secondary institutions.
Founded in 1975, Meade County ATC has served thousands of
Meade Countians, has established a repputation of being a
quality educational institution and has received numerous
awards based on student achievement and placement. Students
of the school have also reached high levels of achievement
through these student organizations, DECA, SkillsUSA, and HOSA.
These students have brought recognition to themselves and
the school at local, state, and national levels of competition.
The three organizations also offer students opportunities
to perform community service activities, organize and participate
in social and sporting activities, and develop leadership
abilities.

Directions to Meade County ATC:
From Frankfort, take I-64 West to Gene Snyder(841) South.
Follow Gene Snyder to the exit for 31W South. At Muldraugh,
turn right on to Highway 1638. After approx. 10 miles, 1638
ends with a stop sign. Turn right onto HWY 448. Go straight
in to Brandenburg. You will pass a First Federal Bank on the
left. Take a left on to Old State Road. Take a right on the
first street(Greer St.). Meade County ATC is straight ahead
on the left.
